The Hangover

When three friends (Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Bradley Cooper) finally come to after a raucous night of bachelor-party revelry, they find a baby in the closet and a tiger in the bathroom. But they can’t seem to locate their best friend, Doug (Justin Bartha) — who’s supposed to be tying the knot. Launching a frantic search for Doug, the trio perseveres through a nasty hangover to try to make it to the church on time.
I haven’t laughed this hard at a movie in a long long time. Everything about this movie just clicked. Perfect cast with great chemistry, great direction, great music, and most importantly a fun script with hilarious dialogue and characters. The stand out here is Zach Galifianakis… for me he makes the movie; without him this is just another average Vegas road trip movie. It’s great to see him get a shot to show the world his brand of humor in this film, and I hope this movie gets him the respect and recognition he deserves. Ed Helms is also great playing the stuck up timid friend who ever so slowly becomes unraveled. I can’t recommend this movie enough… I’m just so happy to finally see a comedy that is laugh out loud funny, and really just ‘goes for it’. Is this a perfect movie? No, of course not… but I didn’t much notice because of how much fun I was having, which is really nice for a change. Make sure to stay for the credits too… I won’t give anything away; but the end credit montage ties into the movie perfectly.
